You Can Belong in Christ’s Family.

Recognize how much God loves you.
The Bible says…
For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. (John 3:16)

Admit that you’re a sinner—that you think, say and do things that displease God.
The Bible says…
for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, (Romans 3:23)

Realize that the penalty for sin is eternal separation from God.
The Bible says…
For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord. (Romans 6:23)

Understand that Jesus died in your place to pay the penalty for your sin.
The Bible says…
He himself bore our sins in his body on the tree, so that we might die to sins and live for righteousness; by his wounds you have been healed. (1 Peter 2:24)

Place your trust in the resurrected Lord Jesus Christ to be saved.
The Bible says…
That if you confess with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. 10 For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you confess and are saved. (Romans 10:9-10)

Speak with God in Prayer.
God, I admit that I am a sinner. I think, say and do things that displease you. I realize that the penalty I deserve is death—eternal separation from you. Thank you for sending your son Jesus to die on the cross to pay the penalty for my sin. I believe that you raised him from the dead to provide salvation. Right now I place my trust in the Lord Jesus Christ, calling on him to save me. Amen.The Bible says… “Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.” (Romans 10:13)
